The Cabin in Ilfracombe, Devon, is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and suitability for families and dogs. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts and local information. While the garden is small, it is secure and adequate. The location is convenient, with local amenities and friendly pubs nearby. Some minor issues with maintenance and comfort are noted, but overall, guests are eager to return and recommend the property.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention that The Cabin is clean and well-kept, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. One review noted some weeds and a need for front door cleaning, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall high praise for cleanliness.

The location is generally well-regarded, with easy access to local pubs, amenities, and the North Devon coast. Some guests mentioned a convenient bus stop and a nearby fish & chip shop. However, one review described the nearby village as run down, slightly impacting the score.

Comfort is frequently commended, with guests finding The Cabin roomy and welcoming. The beds are mostly described as comfortable, with one exception where a mattress was reported to sink in the middle. The secure garden and spacious interior contribute to the comfort of the stay.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and thoughtful, with everything needed for a holiday stay. Some guests suggested improvements such as the addition of a washer dryer and better property information. The presence of a bus stop and school children gathering was noted but not seen as a problem.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently mentioned, with welcome gifts such as dog treats, fudge, and basic provisions. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The Cabin is spacious with everything you need for the whole family. Co op up the road, chippie across the road and good friendly pubs in the village. The whole area is dog friendly Abi is always just a phone call away if needed. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
