Climb the stairs to find two super king-size double bedrooms, mirroring each other with a modern design, with en-suite bathroom, wardrobe and bedside tables. You can step out onto the balcony from either of the bedrooms and enjoy your first coffee of the day accompanied by beautiful views of rolling broad-leaf and conifer woodland, over the rooftops of the other cottages. Alternatively, head out onto the front patio on a balmy afternoon and soak up the rural atmosphere with a replenishing drink. Head to the village of High Bickington for a selection of amenities awaiting you, there is plenty of walking and cycling in the area and local pubs providing a rewarding pint at the end of your route. The Vauterhill Point-to-Point racecourse is nearby as is the Libbaton Golf Club, a beautiful parkland offering challenges for all ages and abilities, with refreshments at The Clubhouse. Choose to explore the wondrous landscapes at Exmoor, where you can walk the South West Coast Path, discover the Valley of the Rocks and Dunster Castle, and even enjoy a journey on the Lynton Cliff Railway. Dartmoor is to the south, as is the Tamar Valley AONB and many more attractions to pass the time. This is the getaway you have been waiting for.

The North Devon village of High Bickington is set in the area known as 'Tarka country'. It offers a Post Office, two pubs, a beauty salon and Libbaton Golf Course. The small village of Umberleigh is only five miles away and has a railway station where trains run on the Tarka Line to Barnstaple or Exeter. This area of North Devon has something for everyone including country walks, fishing and golf, as well as good access to a selection of beaches.
