crawford studio is a charming 1 bedroom rural retreat situated in the peaceful hamlet of Heddon Mill. The perfect all-year round holiday cottage for couples with and a sunny patio for spring and summer. Located just two miles from the bustling village of Braunton, enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside while being only 5 minutes from an excellent choice of pubs, shops and restaurants. The nearest village shop is at Knowle, about 1 mile, which also has a lovely pub serving homemade meals.
crawford studio is within a very short distance of the spectacular beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Saunton and Woolacombe, and your dogs are welcome too! The coastal villages of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are also easily accessible, as is Exmoor, a great day out!

A welcoming and spacious open plan living/dining area with high ceiling, electric fire and a gallery above.
Double patio doors lead out onto a lovely sunny enclosed garden with wonderful rural views and a seating area.
There is wood laminate flooring throughout and simple stylish decor including a metal chandelier and wall lights.
Relax in the evenings on the sofa and watch the flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player, as well as a selection of DVDs, books and games.

The neat practical kitchen has all you could need for a relaxing self catering stay.
Appliances include a fridge, double oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster, as well as lots of cupboard space and a good selection of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. There is also use of a freezer and coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate covered utility area, behind the owner’s home. A high chair is provided.

The double bedroom is located on a mezzanine/gallery level, with sloped ceiling, cheval mirror, and a velux window above the bed. There is a wardrobe on the ground floor.
A travel cot is provided.

Good size bathroom with bath, shower overhead (heated electric shower unit), wash basin, WC and a mirror.
Bath towels are provided.
outdoors
Enjoy use of a large private patio area to the side of the studio with charcoal BBQ and outdoor seating - a lovely space to relax on a warm summer’s day. To the front of the studio there is a sunny lawn with trees and flowers, all enclosed with dog-proof fencing and a gate.
The studio has parking space for 1 car, right beside the property.

The studio is a great base for visiting the local area and in a great dog walking area which is what we were looking for. Although you are located next to the main house, it is a very private spot, not overlooked and with lovely views over the countryside. You might find parking a bit tight if you have a large vehicle. The studio is the size we expected from the pictures which is perfect for 2 (+ dog). As the weather was not great we were not able to make use of the BBQ facilities, but I'm sure these would be great in the summer.

Peter and Debbie were very welcoming and uon arrival we had cream tea, loveley flowers and a bottle of wine. The property was just what we were looking for and nice and cosy, plus the enclosed private garden which our dog could explore.
