Near the heart of the popular village of Braunton, Cosy offers the ultimate in cottage charm. The raised decked area in the elevated garden is the ideal places to sit and laze whilst enjoying warm evenings and sunny days.
S12250 is situated close to the centre of Braunton in the older character part of this popular village and within a short stroll of a selection of vibrant cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard offering a mix of character and contemporary style. The front door leads directly off the road into a hallway with hanging space. The living/dining room has an original inglenook fireplace with a contemporary woodburner ideal for those chillier evenings and a cleverly designed compact kitchen is well equipped. A large family bathroom is on the ground floor and two attractive and good size bedrooms occupy the first floor. At the rear a small, fully enclosed courtyard is ideal for breakfast or relaxing evenings. Shared steep narrow steps (22) lead up to a further private, enclosed, sloping lawned garden and up 6 steps to a large decked sun terrace that offers distant estuary views. Braunton is an ideal location for the surfing beaches at Saunton and Croyde both just a few minutes’ drive (Free parking for one car provided in Croyde Down End Beach Car Park up until end February 2019) and the Tarka Trail runs through the village offering miles of foot and cycle paths with picturesque routes around the Taw estuary towards Barnstaple and Instow.
Accommodation: Ground floor: Hall. Kitchen with fridge, gas cooker, microwave and small freezer in under stairs cupboard. Living/dining room with Smart TV, DVD, and woodburner in inglenook fireplace. Bathroom with electric shower over bath, underfloor heating and heated towel rail, WC and basin. Washer/dryer in utility cupboard. First floor: Bedroom 1 with King, TV and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 2 with Twin & iPod dock.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Complimentary basket of logs during winter months. Travel cot. Gas CH. Wi-Fi. No smoking. One well behaved small or medium pet. Stairgate. Garden furniture. Barbecue area (for disposable Barbecues – not provided). Lockable storage for surfboards and cycles at rear. A parking permit is provided for space in nearby pub car park approx. 100m. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday. **Free parking for one car provided in Croyde Down End Beach Car Park (up until end February 2019)
