Lovingly renovated from top to bottom in 2016, Upper Deck is a delightful 'upside down' holiday cottage for your stay here in North Devon. What better way to unwind after a day at the beach, coastal walking or sight-seeing than to sit and relax in this comfortable cottage. Upper Deck is located in a residential close, in the centre of the vibrant and popular village. Braunton has a choice of local pubs, quality restaurants, cafes and individual shops, so, if you fancy popping out for a drink or a bite to eat then you won't have far to stroll.

The heart of the cottage is the light and bright, open plan main room with vaulted ceiling and painted wooden flooring and decor. The space is complemented at one end with two comfy sofas and a wood burner set on a corner stone hearth. The dining table which will make this a wonderful area for socialising and family meals, together with the handmade kitchen finished with slate worktops are situated at the other end. Leading off from the dining area is a small storage area and a separate cloakroom. Stairs lead down to the three attractive three bedrooms, the main bedroom has a King but can also be set up as a Twin if required, there is also Double and a Single. The tastefully decorated shower room has a good sized corner shower. The courtyard garden provides an enjoyable mix of flagstones, decking and palm trees. The outside seating area makes an ideal spot for drinks and watching the sun draw down on a balmy summer's evening. Parking for one vehicle is provided on the gravel driveway.

If you are looking for an activity based stay, the Tarka Trail cycle path, using the old railway line runs through Braunton and around the estuary towards Barnstaple, Instow and Bideford. The magnificent sandy, surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde are within a 5-10 minute drive. Woolacombe and Ilfracombe are also a short drive away.

Living area with smart TV , DAB radio with blue tooth connectivity, woodburner. Cloakroom with WC and basin. Storage area. Lower Level: Bedroom 1 with King (zip n link option to Twin on request). Bedroom 2 with Double. Bedroom 3 with Single. Shower room with WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels.  Travel cot and highchair. Gas CH. Wi-Fi. No smoking. Regret no pets. Complimentary basket of logs. Patio furniture. Parking on the drive for 1 car, limited additional parking on street. Short breaks available. £100 refundable security deposit. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
