The cottage was very comfortable and clean. Our host was generous and managed to find out about some local trout fishing we wanted to do. We had afternoon tea in the garden which was a joy. The weather was kind on our visit. We watched seals basking on the rocks at Mortehoe and had an excellent lunch in a quiet pub round the back of the church.

Lovely location. I wanted a secluded country side location and that’s what we got. Lovely orchard to sit in with great views. Cottage is very nice, all cooking implements and cleaning equipment supplied even a litre of milk is provided. Lovely wood fire with kindling and logs provided. Hosts were on hand friendly but unobtrusive. Overall a lovely place to stay in a beautiful location, highly recommended.

Lovely rural situation but within easy reach of walks on the moors or coast. Very comfortable cottage and well equipped. Lovely views, good parking and use of the garden. Hosts were charming, including the cat! Dog was made very welcome. Such a relaxing place if you want to get away from it all. I would definitely stay here again.
