The two en-suite bedrooms are on the ground floor and with a bath in one and shower cubicle in the other, the choice is yours. A few steps take you to the lower ground floor where you’ll find the open plan living kitchen dining area. This is a great space for your family to gather whether it’s watching a film on the Blu-ray player whilst snuggling around the log burner or all chipping in to prepare dinner.

If you can grab a few minutes on your own, don’t forget that book you’ve been trying to finish and sit outside on the large patio area in contemplation of your surroundings or wait for sun to set and do some star gazing which the Exmoor area is famous for.

Blackbird Cottage is the ideal choice for your family holiday. In rural surroundings you’ll feel miles away from the Devon tourist hot spots but it’s within easy access to the A377. All Devon has to offer is at your fingertips whether it’s a day at the beach at Westward Ho! or strolling around the historic port of Bideford.
