Stylish barn conversion tucked in a secret valley, surrounded with streams and rolling meadows, on a 170 acre Devon Estate. A tranquil spot for those perfect ‘get-away-from-it-all’ holidays and it's also a fabulous base to explore the ever wonderful Devon.

Vaulted ceilings and French doors, running the length of one wall, compliment the spacious, open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The six bedrooms are airy and bright; two of them being on the ground floor, and each have their own en-suite facilities, one with a fabulous spiral staircase leading down to it.

Guests are invited to enjoy the whole of this Devon Estate, with riverbanks, lake, fields and woods– a dream for lovers of the great outdoors. Horses – you are welcome to bring your own - sheep, swans, ducks and chickens are all resident here (as well as the owners own dogs).

This wonderful barn is an ideal getaway that you won’t want to leave. A perfect base, whether you just need to rest and exhale, enjoy a celebration or wish to explore the beautiful National Parks of Exmoor & Dartmoor, the Devon coastline or the city of Exeter.

Accommodation

Coombeland Barn: sleeps 12 in 6 bedrooms all of which are ensuite, great outdoor space within 170 acres. Guests are welcome to bring their own horses. Parking available.

Door leads into open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area.  Vaulted ceiling.  Underfloor heating and wood burning stove (logs provided).  TV, DVD & Wi-Fi.  Large dining table.  Aga, an American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.  French doors open to walled patio area with feature water fountain and seating area
Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2)  Master Bedroom with king size bed, vaulted ceiling and countryside and lake views.  En-suite shower, WC and wash hand basin
Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2)  Double bedroom with twin beds which can be made into a double bed as required.  Vaulted ceiling.  En-suite with shower
First Floor
