The Wine Lodge is on a working vineyard which produces not only a range of wines but also cider and olive oil. If staying on the vineyard is enough there is also an on-site restaurant and due to its position a few miles from the coast is a great place for star gazing.

There is plenty to do away from the Lodge too, with an array of scenic walking trails and some superb coastal bike rides. The nearby Powderham Castle is definitely worth checking out and runs a range of different events throughout the year. The Sandy beach of Dawlish Warren is only a few miles away, as too is the historic city of Exeter.
