They all look over scenic parkland alongside the main house and you are welcome to wander the vast lower lawns (picnic benches, barbecue area, dogs on leads welcome) and peaceful circular woodland walk. Groom’s Cottage, Gardener’s Cottage and Barley House each have a gravelled terrace (table/seating) at the front, made private with attractive planting and pleached trees. Loading/unloading outside the cottages; shared parking area, just beyond (10 to 30 yards). An outstanding location; much thought has gone into making these superb places individual, stylish and comfortable.
Gardener’s Cottage (see arrow 2) is in the middle. From the drive, 3 steps down to path over gravelled terrace to step up to front door; open-plan living/dining/kitchen (slimline dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge, induction hob/electric oven) with TV/DVD/Blu-ray, wireless speaker and ceiling-high glazed doors to terrace (tables/chairs, parkland views) and door to small paved area behind with 6 steps up to rear drive (loading/unloading). Upstairs, two bedrooms – a double (5’ bed) with parkland views, and a small twin (2’6” beds, linkable to 5’ double). Bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Smart interiors with lovely outlook over parkland.
