Seaton: small, friendly seaside town (pebble beach) at the mouth of the River Axe estuary (sailing, harbour). Cliffs on either side (World Heritage Site ‘Jurassic Coast’): fine coast path walks; 3 mile tramway through Axe Valley nature reserves. Lyme Regis (lovely harbour town), 8 miles by car, 6 by path. Golf nearby. Close inland, beautiful farmland and pretty villages.
