in idyllic surroundings lovely cottage much better equipped than we were led to believe (crockery and cutlery for a dozen) . BBQ and toys and wellington boots in cupboard under stairs. The stream was good to fish in and play pooh sticks on the little bridge. Walk to village shop only 15 mins on quiet lanes. Well stocked and so friendly and helpful. Village pub served wonderful food. had very good holiday and would recommend it to anyone with children and dogs in idyllic surroundings lovely cottage much better equipped than we were led to believe (crockery and cutlery for a dozen) . This is our eighth visit to Riverbank Cottage as we just love the peaceful tranquil setting. The cottage and grounds really are picture perfect. We couldn't want for more. It is an ideal cottage for families too and a great cottage to bring dogs too as there are so many lovely walks in and around the lovely village of Dalwood. To me, every time we come back here it feels like we are coming home. Roll on retirement. Stayed July 2015
