Built in 1849 Millwater Cottage offers peace and tranquillity, the property being located in an excellent rural position. The cottage is completely separate but semi-detached to its neighbour (Riverbank Cottage) and has a very large enclosed private lawned garden. The surrounding countryside is a delight to any country lover and a ramblers dream. Millwater Cottage has wonderful views and a small nearby River Cory has fishing rights. The cottage is half a mile from the 'Best Kept Village' of years gone by at Dalwood. The popular 'Tuckers Arms', a seventeenth century Inn offers very good food and hospitality. The bustling town of Axminster famous for its carpet and Thursday market day lies three miles from the cottage. Lyme Regis, Beer and Seaton are all within a seven mile journey to the coast. Guests interested in indulging in local produce will find an abundance in the area, the acclaimed Lyme Bay Winery is a short drive away and in the village of Dalwood itself is the Dalwood Winery.  Farms throughout the area provide cheese and meat, whilst the proximity to the coast ensures fresh seafood.

    The house was better than I had hoped, Mrs Cove was generous with all her help, allowing us to park in the garden and setting up the travel cot ready for us. The house is lovely and I would happily go every holiday. Stayed August/September 2015
