Set in the Peak District National Park, there are wonderful walking and cycling routes to enjoy with the High Peak Trail and Tissington a little further away. Windley is a hamlet in Derbyshire in the Peak District National Park. The nearby village of Turnditch offers two pubs whilst nearby Belper has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Open plan living area with kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area (table can be converted into full-size pool table) and sitting area.
Oil central heating with electric fire fire.
Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs (one with Sky, one with Freeview), DVD, CD/iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs.
Fuel, power included in rent, additional fuel for fire can be purchased from the owner.
Bed linen and towels included in rent.
Travel cot and highchair on request.
Off road parking for 2 cars.
Gravelled patio area to the front with furniture and BBQ.
One well-behaved dog welcome.

Clean with everything you could need for a getaway, including reliable broadband. Plenty of shops in the local area and many places to eat, drink and visit. The local farm shop (Croots) was one of our favourites for coffee, cakes, lunch and breakfast. Great walking area, we were told! (The non-five star for comfort is just down to us having joint problems which made it difficult to get up of the slightly low bed. Most people would not have a problem).

Waking up to the sounds of farmyard animals was such a delight. The barn was clean, warm and very cosy on arrival. Good communication with the host. The bedroom tv was not working, although not fixed during our stay, the host came over to assess. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The pool table was a lovely added treat to be enjoyed. Thank you for having us, we enjoyed our stay and will be back in a couple of weeks!
