Just half an hour away by car lies Matlock and Matlock Bath, the county town of Derbyshire offering a whole host of exciting activities such as admiring the stunning views down the gorge as you take a cable car up to the Heights of Abraham. Also, for those who enjoy cycling, the High Peak Trail lies just south of Matlock whilst to the north is the market town of Bakewell, home to the magnificent Chatsworth House. The town of Belper is situated in the Derwent Valley and offers the North Mill, Long Row and the River Gardens. Just 10 miles away is the popular Peak District town of Matlock, and to the north are Bakewell and Chatsworth House.
