"Lovely recently renovated period cottage situated in a great location. The property is handy for the Peak District whilst being only 10 mins from the M1. The owner Martin lives next door and makes sure that you have everything you need. He was only too happy to supply us with extra logs for the wood burner. Lots of walks, NT houses, good pubs and restaurants nearby. Would definately recommend and hope to return in the near future."

"This very pretty, cosy and warm cottage is positioned in a beautiful part of Derbyshire. Well equipt kitchen and comfortably furnished rooms makes this cottage feel like a proper home from home. Great country views from every window yet close to local amenities, including a 24hr Tesco Extra selling everything you could possibly want. A perfect location with lots of interesting places to visit within easy reach so less time spent in the car. Martin, the owner, was very friendly and hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. He has a wealth of information about the area so you can take full advantage of what is on offer in this amazing part of the country. We didn't want to leave and will definitely stay here again."

"My wife and I enjoyed a good holiday at Jasmine Cottage, and were made very welcome. The cottage was comfortable with a pleasant sitting are at the back which offered a lovely view.Lots of places to visit in the area - we enjoyed Hardwick Hall, and the Dove Valley, as well as a nice walk beside the canal at Cromford. All in all thank you for a very pleasant holiday."

"This was the best appointed cottage we have stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot. A patio and a front garden to enjoy the Indian Summer; reading lights over each bed; excellent bath and showers; sharp kitchen knives; prosecutor flutes; and a smart TV with iPlayers. And to top it all Martin, the owner and the man who renovated the cottage to such high standards, lives next door to fix any problems (there wern't any) and makes amazingly good french onion soup. There is a lot to do within only a short drive or walk of Jasmine Cottage and Martin has prepared some useful walking maps. The only downside was that South Wingfield does not have a coffee shop - put does have a romantic ruined Manor. We will be going again."

"Very clean overall with well equipped kitchen and good outside space which we were able to make use of in the sunshine. The only slight drawback in the twin room was lack of space to hang clothes. The location was good for that part of Derbyshire and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. We would be happy to stay at Jasmine Cottage again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Jasmine Cottage. There was a lovely, homely feel to the property with great views from the garden. "Stunning cottage conversion mixing tradition, practicality and comfort. Great courtyard garden overlooking the Derbyshire hills where you can watch the sun light up the woodland trees in the morning over breakfast. Or sit on your front stone bench overlooking the small private garden on to fields of cows. Modern amenities and lovely touches from the hosts. A perfect retreat."
