"There were 3 families all together in the lodge, 6 adults 3 children and 2 infants. The lodge had plenty of room for all of us, the lodge had everything you could think of for self catering, there was even takeaway menus in the lodge which we did use and have delivered there. There were plenty of pillows, sheets and duvets. All we took were our own bath towels everything else was provided. The staff were so friendly and we got a welcome pack of homemade bars of chocolate for us a to share. I would definitely go back again so I am recommending this Lodge."

"Fabulous location, the family had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend. Lodge is looking tired and old with lots of mismatched, worn and broken items. Cupboards were full of 'junk' and there was a lack of work space in the kitchen. Loads to do in the surrounding areas and great for getting the kids off their technology."

"It was booked for the solitude and quietness. Support from the staff was first class. A couple of problems with the hut, but nothing that spoiled the stay."

"Lovely spot to stay, nice local walks, plenty of interesting places to go with in easy reach. Cabin comfortable, and bedding clean and fresh, only fault we found was the patio doors could not be opened as lock was broken, and key would not work in it. The strange thing about it was the sign on doors saying FIRE ESCAPE, place was clean on arrival but in the oven was a roasting tray with rancid fat in it. Could have done with some leaflets and information guides on places to go, and clear instructions on the electric cooker, the cooking settings were to faded to see. But we had a enjoyable holiday, very quiet, and peaceful, except for one of the people in one of the cabins had a firework display on the Saturday night."

"The property could do with a wifi or internet access."

"Cedar lodge was a very nice place. Very quiet location pull out bed wasn't very comfortable at all. A few cobwebs on ceiling to make you feel at home. If you don't mind 8 legged brothers."

"Wonderful situation; good, short walks; lots for children to do and so much bird-song for the oldies; bit muddy - but that's a woodland. Very helpful staff and prompt maintenance when needed. Well-equipped lodge, though the "double-bed in the lounge area" would have been a bit trying for older people who need their comforts and space."

"We had a very nice time at Cedar Lodge. We were there for the Crufts in Birmingham and enjoyed to have a very nice place to have a rest after all the stress of the dog show."

"Great location and service. Very comfy but not enough oven space or seating for 10"
