The Byre is a wonderful converted barn located on the outskirts of Cartmel on the outskirts of Allithwaite, which is home to the famous L'Enclume restaurant. All of the bedrooms are immaculately finished with lovely bed linen, two come with zip/link beds which can be super king-size or two single beds, and one has a superb en-suite shower room. The family bathroom is classy and contemporary with separate shower, and The Byre benefits from a cosy snug area on the first floor with comfortable seating. Outside there's the added luxury of a brilliant outdoor area with patio seating and a hot tub for you to sit and relax in after a fun-filled day exploring the area. Allithwaite is a charming village offering the basic amenities and good access to the Lake District and all that it has to offer. A superb cottage in a great location for a holiday with family and friends.
The village of Allithwaite is situated on the western edge of the Cartmel Peninsula, close to the Lake District National Park. Allithwaite has a shop, Post Office and a pub serving food, plus Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands and many places of the Lake District are within easy reach.
