2 rings on hob not working. Toilet seat broken and lying propped up against wall. No outside light to see keybox numbers in the pitch dark. We returned home 3 days early as we were so cold in the cottage. Temperatures in the village were -9 degrees and the circuit breaker box was padlocked !!!! preventing us from switching storage heater and bathroom heater back on.. Far too much furniture crammed into tiny bedrooms..ie padlocked ottomans presumably storing owners possessions. My legs were black and blue from knocking against them.

The location of the cottage is perfect. We cant fault it in any way. The owner is easy to contact if needed.

The bed was so comfortable and it was in an ideal location. The only thing we would of liked improved is the lounge furniture as it’s a little dated now. This did not put us off and we would recommend. The pub opposite was not offensive in anyway.
