Why not pop over to Ingleton and explore the White Scar Caves, or the pretty village of Hawes in the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales? Alternatively the Lake District is less than a 50-minute drive away where you can admire the breathtaking beauty of the mesmerising Lake Windermere and enjoy afternoon tea in one of the many tea rooms in Bowness-on-Windermere. The attractive market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is situated in the heart of the Lune Valley, midway between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The town has a market day on a Thursday and a number of 17th and 18th century buildings. The medieval Devils Bridge spans the river, and the quiet country lanes are ideal for exploring by car, bike, or even horse.

Owner really lovely with communication and local tips. Warm and clean. The bath wasnât really useable for a good soak after long autumn days walking but for the price there certainly isnât anything to complain about.
