This is a lovely terraced cottage situated opposite the River Eak, in the centre of the village of Cark in Cumbria. An ideal location for small families or couples wishing to explore this beautiful part of the country, with Lake Windermere being only eight miles away. From the front door you step into the sitting room with comfortable seating and a woodburner and then into the well-equipped kitchen with dining area where you can prepare delicious meals. Upstairs there are two cosy bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. Outside, and to the front of this lovely property there is a decked patio with furniture where you can sit and overlook the river and a rear patio also with furniture. A very tranquil setting to sit and relax with a good book. Take an easy stroll to the village of Cark where you will find a shop and a couple of pubs. Further afield is the village of Carmel with its pretty cobbled streets, shops, pubs and restaurants and also a visit to the famous racecourse might tempt you for a flutter on the horses. Of course, the whole of the Lake District National Park is just waiting to be explored. Why not take a trip on a boat on Lake Windermere? A lovely cottage to return to after a busy day exploring all the many activities available in the surrounding area.

Cark in Cartmel is a small Lakeland village just two miles from Cartmel, one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District. Cark is well served by the Furness line railway, and features pretty streamside strolls, lovely walks to the local coastline overlooking Morecambe Bay, two fine traditional old pubs and a scattering of small shops.
