The cosy sitting room has a beautiful feature fireplace with woodburning stove and leather sofas to snuggle into at the end of the day. Upstairs the bedrooms are furnished and decorated to a high standard with beautiful views across the dale, and completing the accommodation are a first floor bathroom and ground floor shower room. From this beautiful Yorkshire cottage, there are lots of lovely traditional shops and tea rooms to enjoy in nearby Sedbergh and slightly further away in Hawes you can stroll around the many antique and gift shops. This Garsdale holiday home is also perfectly placed to explore the Lake District National Park with Lake Windermere being less than 27 miles away. Sedbergh (pronounced Sed-Ber), an ancient market town in northern Dentdale, is situated just inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The town, with its narrow streets, little shops, traditional pubs, famous school dating back to 1525 and its 12th century church, has an olde worlde atmosphere.
