It's a well equipped cottage, warm and very clean. Plenty of parking space and the owner was lovely with helpful suggestions on where to visit and the local walk into Ulverston. A very relaxing stay and a convenient base on the edge of the South Lakes made for a wonderful holiday.

Spacious bedrooms, comfy beds. Well appointed, clean kitchen & utility room. Great, off-road parking. Living room could do an extra coffee table & maybe one extra chair. Overall, cosy & warm, well located. So much to see & do in the local area. Oh, and the cottage's history along with the adjacent buildings is fascinating!

Very clean and the owner put everything into place for us we couldn’t ask for more. Had a lovely bbq in the front garden and the cottage was able to accommodate 6 of us. Definitely would recommend. 2 minutes walk from the local Londis and petrol station and lots to do in the area
