Clean, well equipped and comfortable in lovely surroundings. The Old Farmhouse suited our 3 generation family perfectly with good walks from the house and amusements for the grandchildren within easy driving distance.

We spent a week at the cottage with our two dogs and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was really lovely and well furnished and we could exercise the dogs in the field out the front. We particularly enjoyed eating our evening meals at the picnic table at the front with gorgeous views and sunsets. The location was also great, we enjoyed exploring Arnside and Silverdale but it was also not too far to drive into the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

The farmhouse was cosy and welcoming with lovely decor and everything you could possibly need. The rooms are a good size and the beds were very comfy. We loved the little outdoor courtyard and the beautiful flower beds, a great place to stay for some peace and quiet.
