Rum Bush Cottage is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests consistently commend the stunning views, particularly from the hot tub, and appreciate the property's rural quietness. The cottage's well-equipped nature and the responsiveness of the owner and housekeeper are noted, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotless' and 'well maintained'. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience of the guests.

The location is frequently described as idyllic, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation and walks, with beautiful countryside views. The rural setting and proximity to local attractions are appreciated, although some guests mention the remoteness in relation to amenities.

Comfort is generally rated highly, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. However, there are a few mentions of an uncomfortable bed and a desire for better storage, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the hot tub and wood burner. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, such as problematic taps and a DVD player, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

While the reviews reflect a high level of satisfaction with the service and responsiveness of the owner and housekeeper, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

2 points about the maintenance... 1st. The jacuzzi definitely needs a new lid asap and 2nd the heating, not sure how it worked as it was either too hot or had to turn it off, no between so maybe soon Instructions on how that works. But apart from that the cottage was perfect would definitely stop again.

The house was clean, cosy and warm on arrival and the hot tub was well used over the Xmas period. We even had a tree and decorations. We had a lovely break, myself and my daughter and we even had our cat with us
