The most beautiful spot, so quiet, off road parking very secure and safe. So cosy, gas log burner amazing. Top quality fixtures and fittings throughout, everything very new. Loads of character. Everything worked as it should. Surpassed expectations, highly recommend.

You have everything you need within the cottage for a very comfortable stay. Location was good for us to explore Yorkshire, the Dales & The Lakes. We would Highly recommend Bert’s Cottage. Many Thanks Julie & Paul Northumberland

It’s stunning, the attention to detail is like nothing we have experienced before. It has to be the most well decorated property we have ever stayed in. The more you look the more you see. The heating was very welcome, when the temperature dipped in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space was really comfortable, and homely. We had a beautiful week of weather, controversially as the rest of the country was rather wet. We were a ‘stones throw’ from the Lake District, it’s great location to pop over and explore. It’s been an amazing week to celebrate my 50th birthday. One birthday present from my husband that I will never forget. Thank you to Martin and Carole for providing such an amazing place. This cottage gets five stars from us! Totally recommend.
