Snaptrip says

Wellhope View Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, stunning location, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome basket filled with homemade treats, though it's noted these are a kind gesture and not guaranteed. The property offers a comfortable stay with a cosy wood-burning stove and is well-equipped for a relaxing break amidst beautiful scenery, with some suggestions for minor improvements.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained, which indicates a high standard of hygiene and care.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its fabulous views and tranquillity, with easy access to local walks and attractions. Some guests note the remoteness and suggest a 4x4 for winter visits.

Guests find the cottage cosy and well-appointed, with a warm wood-burning stove and comfortable beds, although a few guests mention the firmness of the mattresses and seating.

The property is commended for its amenities and welcome hamper, with a well-equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi. However, there is a mention of the lack of garden furniture and a suggestion for shower grab handles.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently highlighted, particularly the welcome hamper with homemade goods. It's important to note that such personal touches, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed.

Thank you Diane and Dick. The Christmas touch was very much appreciated. Likewise, the fresh bread, homemade jams, fresh eggs and not to mention the Christmas cake were all truly wonderful. Our little fury friends enjoyed their stay too and were probably grateful the snow kept its distance.
