Beckermet is a small village resting one mile away from the West Coast and is within close reach to the Lake District National Park. Within the village you will find two pubs serving food and local beers. Venture to the Lake District National Park where you have access to the peaks of Scafell Pike Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell.

It is comfortable and bright with the added bonus of a hot tub. The owners, Geoff and Julie, are readily available should you need them and are keen to ensure your stay is enjoyable and your every need catered for. I would highly recommend a stay at this cottage, which is reasonably priced. We are going back in October, that just about says it all.

We walked along the coast to St Bees which was nice. The hosts were really nice and even brought us freshly baked scones and tried to help as much as possible when the electric started to go off due to storm Debi.
