I know it is a dog friendly site but I don't expect to get covered in hair everytime i sat down. The gas being out wasn't a problem as heaters where provided for warmth, however the oven was gas and this wasn't said and I couldn't cook anything for my children. I'm sorry bit it is not one I would recommend.

However, while the property is dog friendly, the site definitely is not. My wife was harassed by the gateman on numerous occasions telling her not to walk the dog on site, keep it off the grass, dont let it off the lead etc etc. On one occasion he actually followed her from the reception all the way to the holiday home and waited until she was inside before going back. We had every intention of booking to go back there but this man has changed our mind on that. A pity because it’s a lovely place.

The radiator in the kitchen was hit and miss, some of the utensils on the counter didn't feel clean so had to wash what we were going to use. Not sure if the heating goes off at night because it was quite cold. The fire made it cost enough in the living room. The main issue was the beds as the main bed was very uncomfortable and felt lumpy when laid on it. Ok for my mum as she is slight of frame, so had to buy a blow up and sleep in the living room. The twin beds were only really big enough for a child not an adult so couldn't sleep on them. Due to bed issues and the constant rain we cut our holiday short and came home a day earlier. I only booked this because the reviews on bed comfort was good but unfortunately it wasn't for me.
