Obviously it’s not a big deal, other than that everything was perfect. We have stayed before and will definitely book again.

Access is easy via a key safe. The rooms are larger than we expected from the photos. The beds are comfortable with white linen. One bath towel per person plus a hand towel in each bathroom are provided. The large bathroom/shower room and the downstairs wet room were good and the kitchen is well equipped although we did minimal cooking on this occasion. With a little tweaking (eg somewhere to hang towels and a chair to put clothes on overnight in bedrooms, a mirror in the wet room, a side light next to each bed in the twin room, a bit of corner grouting and a good clean of the plughole in the wet room, inclusion of a dish cloth) it would be relatively easy to make this into a 'five star' house. As others have mentioned, the house is NOT detached and as such its description as such is wrong. The fact that it hasn't been changed to semi detached yet suggests that Sykes doesn't read or take seriously its own reviews! While life next door is audible, it didn't bother us but clearly others have found it a problem. In fact, the coming and going of holiday makers in a house with hard flooring in most places is far more likely to cause problems for the neighbour than vice versa. Cars and pedestrians can be heard going by but for a central location on Friday and Saturday nights, we found it remarkably quiet.
