About this property

This lovingly converted barn ensures peace and tranquillity for those precious moments away together. Nestled in the heart of The Cotswolds near Cirencester, simply perfect for a romantic getaway

Sweethills Barn was originally the Gamekeepers ‘lookout’ and retains its original oak beams, coupled with high ceilings creating a very spacious feel.

The open plan fully-fitted kitchen/dining area and sitting room give a wonderful feeling of togetherness and comfort. French doors open from the sitting room area to the garden making the most of the amazing countryside views. The bedroom is beautifully laid out and welcomes its guests to the upmost comfort.

Continue the romance into the private garden with seating and barbeque supplied, enjoy those lazy summer evenings appreciating the wonderful views on offer.

Sweethills Barn will provide you with many happy memories – We believe a marriage proposal was also made here recently…food for thought…!

As a gift from the owner, all visitors during the summer months will be able to enjoy watching polo with a complimentary membership to Cirencester Park Polo Club where top players (and the odd Prince or two!) take part in the most enthralling of equestrian sports. As members you will be able to park in the Members Enclosure and enjoy the Members Restaurant and Bar.

*Please note that this only applies during the polo season, which runs from approx. mid-May to mid-September.

The cottage was really nice, very secluded and really good if you have a dog as the entire area is enclosed. You have direct walks from the cottage which are lovely. The cottage itself is very clean and although small it didn't affect us as we spent most of our time outside having BBQs. Only issue for some would be the lack of signal you get on your phone.
