When the time comes to whisk the family away for an adventure, where better than Maple, a spacious cottage set in the Woodland Retreat resort in the Cornish countryside.

Maple is the ideal setting for a gathering, with three separate living areas, with two downstairs and one upstairs, there’s plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company, or even to sneak off for a quiet hour with a book! The open plan layout makes Maple a light and inviting home from home and the French doors that open from the dining are mean you can make the most of the country air from breakfast till bedtime.

After a long day out, you’ll be glad to return to the comfort of Maple. The upstairs master bedroom is a real treat, with skylights in the sloping ceiling adding character. Downstairs, you’ll find a twin with an en suite, and a four poster double adds a touch of class.

There’s plenty to explore in the quiet countryside that surrounds the resort, and Woodland Retreat is also well-placed as a base to discover the numerous gems of the North Cornish coastline, with idyllic spots like Padstow… where better to sample the local seafood?

Lazy days can be spent simply soaking up the sun on the sun loungers in the garden, or enjoying an easy lunch on the terrace. Bliss.

Within just half an hours drive, Cedar is conveniently situated to access a range of beaches from Tolcarne at Newquay, to Padstow Harbour and Watergate Beach. 
Please note: The swimming pool is available for all ages. The Sauna, Steam room and Gym are only available for ages 16 and above.
