... ¾ mile from Withiel, in the beautiful farmed and wooded Ruthern Valley, a cottage attractively converted from a barn, attached to but quite private from the owners' house, end on to a quiet lane. Small, shrub-screened suntrap patio (table/chairs, barbecue) by the front door; orchard to wander.
Stable doors into spacious living/dining/fitted kitchen (slimline dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer), open and airy with open fire, interesting pictures and TV/DVD. Steep stairs (stairgates) up to two bedrooms with lovely, long countryside views – a double (5’ bed), and a twin; wood-panelled bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Cupboard of children's toys. Four steps down to adjacent utility room (washer-drier). Pottery lessons by arrangement locally. Lockable garage available for bicycles. Spring water. A very peaceful, civilised place, convenient for both north and south coasts and touring Cornwall.
