A fabulously spacious farmhouse tucked away in an idyllic location, sitting amongst fields and rests in the Hamlet of Coverack Bridges, just outside Helston and just a 10 minute drive from the harbour town of Porthleven with its many fine restaurants and beach. This wonderful house has many of the traditional features including large rooms, exposed granite walls and fireplace, and beamed and trusses. Entering from the hall into the large kitchen with a long table perfect for dining with the family, through into the sitting room, with French oak flooring, neutral carpeting and a predominantly traditional furnishings, there is also a single bedroom on the ground floor, from here the stairs leads onto the first floor, where there are three more comfortable bedrooms, the master boasts an en-suite shower room, the family bathroom is also on this floor. There is a private garden with a bench to the side of the property for a picnic and refreshments as well as shared access to grassy meadow, where there are football goals and a badminton net, the family can gather for fun and games. Helston is the nearest town, just over 2 miles away, drive a little further to discover the beaches, hidden coves, picturesque villages and breathtaking coastal footpaths on the Lizard Peninsula. From Lizard village the walk to Kynance Cove is truly wonderful; the view from above, with the contrasting green and blue waters against the dark rocks and white sands has excellent caves to explore at low tide. Praa Sands offers a beautiful mile long stretch of beach, popular with families, bathers and surfers. A fantastic base for your family Cornish holidays.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, a large area of downland fringed by a beautiful and spectacular coastline. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is the Poldark Mine, one of the best underground experiences in the south west and which tells of the widespread mining heritage of this area. Nestled in a tranquil setting is the National Seal Sanctuary on the Helford River, where there is plenty of entertainment watching seals play and feed. If it is thrill rides that excites you, then Flambards theme park will keep you amused all day and also has excellent living history experiences. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Helston is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.
