About this property

Little Barn Cottage is a beautiful stone-built cottage on two levels, in the pretty hamlet of Treviskey, just a ten minute walk from Portloe and the Coast Path. It is elegant and full of charm and character and a lovely place to stay for families or couples at any time of the year. The living-dining room has a vaulted ceiling, a cosy wood-burning stove and glazed doors to the garden; walk through to the well equipped kitchen which has breakfast table and chairs. There is also a snug with a coal-effect fire in an inglenook fireplace and a double sofa bed. On the ground floor there is a family bathroom. Head upstairs to two bedrooms – a king-size double and a twin with a glimpse of the sea and a shower-room. The lovely enclosed suntrap garden has a patio and garden furniture, and is just right for al fresco meals or morning coffee; there is also a detached garage, a great place for playing games and storing bicycles and beach gear. An excellent cottage for superb beaches, walking, exploring or just chilling out. But for those wanting to explore further, why not visit the delightful villages of St.Mawes or Mevagissey.

Often described as 'the jewel in the crown of the Roseland Peninsula', and rightfully so. Portloe is a very pretty, picturesque coastal village well-known for its fishing and walking opportunities.

It was extremely comfortable, well appointed and situated in a fantastic location to explore the Roseland Peninsula. The cottage was very tastefully decorated and we loved the spaciousness that it afforded.

  • Vincent

The property itself was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities, however the plumbing was a bit of a trial at times.

It excelled our expectations in every way. The cottage is in a lovely location. The garden was a delight . The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils to make life easy if cooking a meal.
