It is far too high. I know thereâs a trend for placing TVs high on a wall (typically above a fire place) but it only works if you are standing up (like in a pub) otherwise itâs literally a pain in the neck when trying to watch from the comfort of the settee.

The site is very peaceful away from the main road, good for walks around the surrounding countryside - however we used it more as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about 40-50 min away the beaches just outside of Hayle around 30 min, the fantastic Porthcurno beach, Landâs End, and the Tin Coast a bit further - probably 1hr to 1hr 20 depending on traffic. The lodge is well kitted out with all main appliances and smart TVâs in each bedroom and the living area (not Apple TV). Enough crockery for a family, but could do with more if the dishwasher is to be used efficiently. Facilities at the site are lodges only, so bring ball games etc. we brought a Swing ball and left it up all week. The deck is nice for an evening meal / drink. We thought a great addition would be a hot tub for sunny evenings / sunsets to put the icing on the cake! All in all it met our needs, some small tweaks to make recycling easier, the decking door needed some play to close, and we couldnât get the outside lights to work (but could just have been us!) but otherwise a very enjoyable stay to explore the surrounding area. The lodge had fantastic facilities and Michelle was extremely helpful with showing us the lodge on arrival as well as imparting local knowledge. If we stay near Truro again, we will definitely book this accommodation. Thank you.
