Snaptrip says

The Garden Apartment in Tintagel is highly praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and the comfort of its bed. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the peacefulness of the area. The property is well-equipped, though some guests suggest updates to the sofas and mattress. The responsiveness of the owners to any issues is commended. While welcome packs are occasionally mentioned, their presence is not consistent.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as immaculate, tidy, and well-maintained.

The location is frequently celebrated for being close to Tintagel, coastal walks, and attractions, with guests appreciating the quiet yet convenient setting.

Comfort receives a slightly lower score due to mixed reviews about the bed and sofas. While some find the bed extremely comfortable, others suggest it is too small or uncomfortable. The sofas are often mentioned as needing replacement.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the apartment being described as well-equipped and cosy. However, some guests mention issues with the washing machine and suggest improvements such as better lighting and the addition of blinds for privacy.

While some guests mention welcome packs and the helpfulness of the owners, there are not enough consistent references to gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category.

About this property

This modern, semi-detached, stone-built Tintagel cottage enjoys wonderful distant coastal views and has a spacious and bright open plan living area, simply but comfortably furnished and including a woodburner. It opens out to a private, enclosed garden that catches the sun all day - just made for escaping the stresses of modern living. Note: This Tintagel cottage can be booked with Ref. 3836, 14431, 1043669 and 918337, together they sleep 15.

The area around Tintagel is dominated by the sea, rugged coastline, secluded coves and incredible scenery. The town is famous as the home of the legendary King Arthur's castle, and the castle ruins still overlook the cliff side outside the town. Several beaches, the closest being Trebarwith Strand, are within reach and great surfing is also on offer locally. The South West Coast Path travels through the town and navigates along the cliff tops in both directions through magnificent countryside, then winds down to the sea's edge. 2.5 miles along the path is the village of Boscastle with its charming old fashioned quay and good village pubs. Tintagel itself offers several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office, a National Trust property that is well worth a visit. The popular surfing centre of Bude is 15 miles distant, and Bodmin Moor, Padstow and the fascinating Eden Project are all an easy drive away.

Lovely log fire very comfortable bed. Only negative is the toilet flush needs adjusting but would certainly return again next year.

Arrived to find a nice clean and very inviting cottage. Brilliant location for walking the area or going out and about with parking right at the location. Very cosy for 2 and dog friendly, had everything you need for a stay, the heating makes the place warm on a cold wet day, and the log burner was brilliant, made the cottage very very warm quickly. Pub only about 10-15min walk. Would defiantly book this again.

Easy walk into Tintagel and on a bus route. Cute cottage with a lovely little garden getting sun throughout the day.
