… about ½ mile from Luckett, two detached cottages set in 7 acres of gardens, wildlife pond (unfenced), vegetable plots and meadow (pigs, chickens), along with the friendly owners’ cottage. You are welcome to explore, but small children should be supervised. Home produced eggs, bacon, logs available. Spring water. A lovely, get-away-from-everything place.
Mugwell Barn: single-storey detached cottage which faces away from the owners’ house and has a large patio (table/chairs) with lovely uninterrupted rural views. It is contemporary and capacious with oak floors throughout. Open-plan living/dining/kitchen (slimline dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer) with woodburner, sofa bed (for alternative sleeping), TV/DVD/Blu-ray and large glazed doors that fold back to open to the patio, also stairs up to side entrance; double bedroom (6’ zip-linked bed) with glazed doors to garden and en suite shower-room (wet-room suite, bidet). Although not specifically designed for wheelchairs, it can suit people with limited mobility.
