This property was a step back in time, slightly rickety and quirky with low doorways and ceilings. The lounge was cosy with small minimal upright furniture. It was a good place for birdsong and peace and quiet. The cottage was only accessed via a narrow steep single track road. As long as you like to be in nature, huddled in a small cottage it is perfect for you!

Beautiful cottage with lots of lovely forest and river walks from the door. Spotlessly clean house and well equipped kitchen. Great open fire and comfortable furniture. The best place to see the stars is from behind the house in the dark take your wellies and a torch. I've never seen so many birds or heard a dawn chorus like it. Will definitely revisit this little piece of paradise.

The location was hidden away and so very quiet, apart from the odd train. This lovely old cottage that has retained all kinds of original features that we very much appreciated. It is a pleasure to stay in a place that has such character and retains its history through simple things like door latches and windows, right down to the little fireside chair it is a gem of a place. Please don't ever modernise it.
