The rooms were very very cramped and there was not any proper storage in the bedrooms. The shower curtain was mouldy, there were screws coming up from the floor joinings and there was not a tv remote. Sykes/ management company were brilliant and got a new shower curtain / remote and when the lock on the door broke they came out straight away. Just the standard of the accommodation was so poor! There was only one mirror ( in the bathroom) in the whole place not good when you’re going out for dinner!!! The double bed was up against the wall in the main bedroom and the bathroom and bedroom door kept getting locked together because they were so close. Definitely not worth the money we spent on it and would definitely not recommend.

Kitchen well equipped, shower and heating lovely. However negatives - Sofa smelt musty every time we entered the property. The door was broken, (awaiting renewal) was addressed, but broke again, maintenace man didn't return to stengthen repair, (as promised) we had to undo the screws morning and night in order to lock and unlock. One one occasion we were locked in and had to climb through the bedroom window to unlock from the outside. There were also other repairs that needed doing, which in my oppinion let it down. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling, with an old damp patch. Some mildew on the tiles and the shower curtain (shower curtains 2 pound from Asda, could be changed everytime). Some of the wood work such as doors seemed dusty in places and could do with a good clean/wipe down. The laminated flooring in the living room area needs replacing. On 2 occasions I had to put slugs out (found near kitchen area) may be getting in through the dodgy door. On arrival I had to bleach and scrub the dish drainer as it smelt and had a layer of grime on it .
