Along the large hallway is the charming dining room filled with interesting, traditional details and a grand dresser set back against the wall. Find yourselves pleasantly welcomed by the country-style kitchen, a lovely room to prepare and cook for the family, the traditional AGA rests in the alcove of the room, with a breakfast table positioned in the centre. The first floor boasts an assorted arrangement of bedrooms, tastefully decorated with period sash windows and heart-warming details; the double rooms comprise en-suite showers, whilst the super king-size room has a zip/link option of twin beds, should you wish for an alternative layout. Located at the southern end of the Allen Valley is the village of St Kew Highway. It offers shops and a pub and on the edge of the village, a nine-hole golf course, with 18 different tees. Just less than a couple of miles away is the village of St Kew, with its church and pub, and there are a number of smaller villages and hamlets in the area, many of which also have a pub. Close by is the market town of Wadebridge, which offers many shops, pubs and restaurants, along with North Cornwall’s only cinema. This part of Cornwall boasts walking routes, as well as horse riding and cycling opportunities. The coast is nearby, where you will find beaches, coves and cliffs, along with the towns of Padstow and Newquay.
