… about 2 miles from St Tudy and St Kew and 10 miles from sand/surf beaches at Rock and Polzeath, two 18th cent. cottages, side by side like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum on a wooded lane, 300 yards from one of the prettiest stretches of the A39 (bluebell woods). At the front, a gravelled parking area and, at the back, each has its own large, enclosed garden. Thirty yards along the lane are 100 acres of private woodland to walk or cycle. The river Allen flows through it (tiddler fishing). The cottages belong to the Lamellen Estate. Spring water.
