About this property

This truly welcoming barn conversion at Cape Cornwall is the perfect retreat for couples looking to get away from it all. Set high atop the cliffs, Ocean Breeze boasts fabulous sea views; watch the sun set on the horizon from the comfort of your sofa – a spectacular sight no matter what the time of year. To stay at Ocean Breeze is to feel completely at home; the open plan living area is comfy and snug with a lovely, deep sofa, well-equipped kitchen and dining table just right for two. The pastel-coloured bedroom has a nautical theme and selection of books to peruse at your leisure, and the modern shower room is beautifully clean and spotless. Outside, there is a small, landscaped garden which sits within enclosed grounds – the perfect place for breakfast with a view or celebratory fizz overlooking the waves. Practically on the South West Coast Path, Ocean Breeze offers fantastic walks right from the front door. Amble down to Priests Cove, a pebbly beach from where little fishing boats still work lobster pots, and where a saltwater pool in the rocks offers safe and sheltered bathing. The historic town of St Just is just a short walk away; here you will find a friendly community with everything you could need for your stay – a butcher, baker, greengrocers and several excellent pubs, cafés and galleries. Perfectly located for discovering the beauty of rugged far west Cornwall, Ocean Breeze offers a sensational setting for your holiday throughout the year.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
