Take a seat at the breakfast bar and watch the chef of the group show off their talents as they prepare an exquisite three course meal, to be devoured at the dining table; no need to fight over who's turn it is to do the dishes, leave it to the dishwasher. At the end of the hallway, a handy utility space provides the perfect area to wash and dry your clothes after an action-packed day on the beach. Head up the airy staircase to the shower room and indulge in a refreshing waterfall shower, whilst your towel keeps warm on the heated rail. Further down the hall you will find an attractive double bedroom with built-in storage for all of your belongings and en-suite with waterfall shower; this bedroom also features gorgeous patio doors out to a balcony with breath-taking views of the sea. A charming twin bedroom with crisp white bedding and lovely decor is a great spot to rest for those wanting to stay with a friend. Back on the ground-floor, you will also find access to the rear garden of the property, make the most of this space during the summer months with lunch on the lawn, or instead, why not tuck into breakfast around the outdoor table on the front patio. When you can manage to tear yourself away from this sumptuous dwelling, wander down to Carbis Bay and take a stroll along the white sands as you admire the clear waters. Develop new and exciting skills with an exhilarating surf lesson with Roam Cornwall, or head into St Ives where you can catch a boat ride or hire out a kayak or wine and dine at one of the many local bars and restaurants. What disappointed me after a long tiring journey,…there wasn’t any welcome pack such as a pint of milk, tea or coffee. This wasn’t a cheap property and little welcoming touches make a difference. There was a very thick duvet on the bed and needs to be changed in warm weather as made sleep very difficult. I was disappointed that we couldn’t see the sea when sat in the garden as the pictures give the impression that you can. The back garden has no furniture and very little room for sitting out. The front garden has the sunshine in the mornings but there is no view except for a garage and driveway opposite and the garden is not particularly pretty. Overall I didn’t think it represented good value for money.

Quiet in the evening but easy to walk to lots of restaurants, beaches and Tesco! Bus stop outside incase we didn’t fancy walking in to St Ives, though it’s not far. Ideal for the five of us. Amazing sea views from two of the bedrooms which was an added bonus. Lovely bedrooms, en-suite, living area, kitchen and front decking perfect for a sunny breakfast spot. Only suggestions for improvement would be to give the grout in the shower in the main bathroom a clean up and also in the back garden, there was a little BBQ but no outdoor seating. A little table and a few chairs would have been handy, but I accept it’s probably not usually as hot and sunny as it was when we were there! Thank you

We enjoyed our stay here and would book again. Perfect location for us, just outside of the hustle and bustle but well within walking distance of it all. Bus stop just down the road if you don’t want the climb back from st Ives. House was nice and clean, lovey furnishings and everything we needed. One small suggestion it would have been nice to have access to Netflix etc especially if the weather had turned bad, otherwise brilliant stay. Thank you
