This four-bedroom lodge sleeps up to eight guests, and you can even bring the family dogs along too.

With its open plan, contemporary interior, a good night’s sleep is guaranteed in the king size bed. Then there’s time for a leisurely breakfast or hearty brunch to set you up for the day at the Una Kitchen restaurant. The menu here focuses on the freshest Cornish produce, like locally baked bread, seasonal soups and seafood, and the kids have their own menu to choose from.

On sunny days, it’s a short drive to the artist’s colony of St Ives, or a 15-minute stroll to the golden sands of Carbis Bay, where you can challenge the kids’ sandcastle making skills or relax with a drink and watch the sun set.

Speaking of relaxing, how about a little ‘you’ time? Pampering spa packages are available at The Retreat spa, where Suzie and the team will treat you to a massage, facial, or your choice of holistic therapies.
