The games room is disappointing though - especially on a wet week! The mini snooker table is unusable (the balls roll from one end of the table to the other without being hit!) and the table tennis table has seen better days. Some investment here would make this a better destination in wet weather. In the cottage, the fridge was very small and there was ample space for a bigger fridge which would be more suitable for a family group. Attention to detail was missing on some aspects of the cleaning (e.g. cobwebs on lampshades). However, overall, this was another lovely week, despite the weather, in a great location.

It was a little musty and the drawers and wardrobes needed an airing. We loved how everything was thought of - pegs, really well equipt kitchen and opportunity for barbecue. The only thing that threw us was Sykes had it listed as being in Marazion but it wasnât really. This was fine but threw us off course a little. The pool was a welcome extra for our children and they made full use of it.

Wonderfully cosy beds with crisp sheets. Our only criticism would be that the games room could do with an update. Very friendly and welcoming hosts who were kind enough to leave tea, milk, biscuits and even flowers at our arrival! Even though it was pouring with rain when we arrived we felt thoroughly refreshed and soothed, ready for the next leg of our holiday. The weather cheered the next day and we had a fabulous time. Thanks very much, and looking forward to a return one day
