Tinners Cottage in Cornwall is a cosy and quaint holiday rental that offers a peaceful and tranquil setting. Guests have praised its central location, ideal for exploring Cornwall, and its proximity to local attractions. The cottage's garden and wood burner are frequently mentioned as highlights, providing a homely atmosphere. While some guests noted issues with maintenance and comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it lovely and clean. However, there are isolated comments about the need for more thorough cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom, which slightly impacts the score.

The location is highly praised for its quietness and proximity to local sights, shops, and natural attractions like Bodmin Moor and the coast. The peaceful setting and wildlife sounds contribute to a high score in this category.

Comfort receives mixed reviews. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, especially with the wood burner lit, but there are several mentions of uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, and the cottage being cold at times, which affects the score.

Facilities are generally good, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches like games and DVDs. However, issues with TV settings, insufficient hot water, and maintenance concerns like the need for better garden upkeep and safer stair banisters lower the score.

While the reviews mention thoughtful touches like games, DVDs, and a question jar, there are no specific references to gifts provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category accurately, and the score is set to null.

Lovely place in perfect location for us dogs loved garden we could travel to locations easily and nice and private would certainly use again

However, it would need to be better maintained. Thorough cleaning of the kitchen or bathroom is absolutely necessary. The garden would also appreciate more affection. So the price is not appropriate at the moment.
