With award after award to its name, it remains one of the UK’s most popular family days out, and it’s a fascinating attraction with something for everyone. Or, if you’re keen to see the scenery made famous by the BBC’s Poldark, you can walk to neighbouring Charlestown, a historic harbour town with tall ships.
