About this property

A 2 bedroom 2nd floor apartment sleeping 4. A short walk to the pretty harbour and beaches

6 Waterwheel Apartments is 5 star rated and set within a modern development in the village of Charlestown, a World Heritage site.

Internally, the apartment is finished to a very high standard throughout and features a spacious living area perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. Externally, the property features a balcony complete with furniture and offers countryside views and sea glimpses. The property offers an allocated space in the communal car park.

Charlestown has several pubs and restaurants to enjoy, as well as a heritage centre. The shops are characterful and interesting. The community is vibrant, participating in regular events such as gig rowing races and water based activities in the harbour. Untouched by development, this village has often been used as a location for films and TV productions such as Dr Who, The Three Musketeers and Poldark. For those interested in golf, there are three golf courses nearby.

Just over a mile away is the market town of St Austell. Here you will find an array of larger shopping outlets, restaurants and attractions. The world-famous Eden Project is only five miles from Charlestown and offers a fun-filled day for all age groups.

Excellent apartment, very well-equipped in a very convenient location. Charlestown is an intriguing village – so much to see – easy to set off for coast walks. Great holiday.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Charlestown – this is a beautiful apartment – very comfortable and well-equipped. This has been a great base to explore Cornwall as this has been our first visit – but we will definitely return! Fab places to eat and drink – Roshleigh Arms, Pier House Hotel and especially Wreckers – amazing meal there! Really impressed with Cornwall – Minack Theatre and St Michaels Mount were our highlights; Mevagissey and Fowey are well worth visits for their cute shops tea rooms. We look forward to visiting Cornwall again hopefully in the near future.
