Situated high on a hill with stunning views over the surrounding villages and just three miles from The Eden Project is Uplands House. Built just over 10 years ago, the house boasts five bedrooms (two of which are en-suite), an extremely sociable kitchen/dining/snug area which leads into a sunny conservatory, a large living room with cosy woodburner and a well-stocked garden with several private seating areas, fire pits and large, sociable patios. Uplands House has been furnished with opulence and comfort in mind. Comfy settees and chairs mix well with grand antiques and statement mirrors and paintings. The bedrooms are luxurious in space and comforts with thick mattresses, soft towels and crisp bed linen. The sociable aspect of the house is reflected in the wireless Sonos players which will play music from an apple or android phone into the kitchen, living and dining rooms. For those who love cooking for large groups, the equipment in the kitchen is a baker's dream - there is a double oven, a dual cook microwave/convection oven, warming drawer and gas hob. Outside, the garden extends around all three sides of the house from the wide driveway and has plenty of space for large groups. Clever planting has resulted in some intimate seating areas giving couples the space to get away from the rest of the group; while the large wooden climbing frame, slide and swing will keep children occupied for hours.

If you can tear yourself away from the house, the village of Par with its sandy beach which stretches for over half a mile, shops and pub is a ten minute walk away. Carlyon Bay beach is just two miles from the house, while The Eden Project is 3 miles; Charlestown, well known for its stunning harbour, is 4 miles and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 10 miles distant. The owner of Uplands House has some bicycles which are available upon request free of charge.

Utility room with washing machine and shoe rack. Cloakroom with WC and basin. Conservatory with patio doors. First floor: Bedroom 1 with Superking and en suite bathroom with roll top bath with hand held shower attachment over, separate shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with King and en suite shower room with shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin. Bedroom 3 with King. Bedroom 4 with Double. Bedroom 5 with Twin. Family bathroom with roll top bath with hand held shower attachment over, separate shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin.

    A fantastic property in a great area for lots of superb days out and on the odd bad weather day we had a superb day in! Plenty of room for all, very comfortable and relaxing house. Would not hesitate to go back or to recommend to others.
